The Alpha Course is a 10 week practical introduction to the Christian faith, addressing questions such as ‘Who Is Jesus?’  ‘Why Did Jesus Die?’ Why Read the Bible?’ ‘Who Is the Holy Spirit?’  ‘What Does He Do?’ ‘Does God Heal?’.  Here at St Peter’s our evening Alpha courses run along these lines:  7pm start with a meal, enjoyed in groups of around 12;  then we listen to the talk on that night’s subject;  after coffee there’s a chance to discuss, or listen to others discuss, issues and questions raised by that night’s talk; might have raised; we finish at 9.45pm.

Alpha  - our 17th Alpha course will begin 7pm Tuesday 24 January 2012 in the Village Hall.   If you haven’t attended an Alpha course before, why not come along to this one?  Full info on the invitations at the back of the church. To register your place, fill in the form or email natalienewcombe@hotmail.com or call her on 01622 693 471       Why not come and see what its about? A)  If you’d like to make a donation towards the running costs of the Alpha course, please make your cheque payable to ‘Boughton Monchelsea PCC’ and give it to Margaret or to me. B)  As there are number of hosts and helpers who have young children there is a real need for babysitters.  Is that a ministry you could offer for the 10 weeks (or some weeks?)  C)  Task Force – 7 or 8 needed to set up the hall and tables and serve food and clear up etc (a great time is had by all there in the kitchen!)  Lists at the back of the church or call or email.  Thank you - Geoff
